Celebrating 40 years of service!!!

Today is an important day of reflection of the past 40 years of serving our clients and a milestone worthy of celebration.

 

I started writing a message maybe after 10 years of business and then the 15th, 20th, 25th year and then decided every year thereafter was a milestone worth sharing.

 

On 06/15/1984, the filing of the first DBA "Doing business as" certificate at the Monroe County Clerk's office on West Main St. in Rochester, NY; I had just enough money to file. After that, I used two(2) $500 limit credit cards to buy my first computer and accounting software. Then after that, 16 more companies have been created, 9 that were more investments were ultimately sold during the years and 8 remain today of which 7 of those are our core businesses that we have been operating since the first years.

 

People ask me what we do and I always smile and say; well we do everything in the game of "Monopoly" (my childhood favorite and suspect many of you as well). Investment Advisory & Portfolio Management Services, Accounting & Taxation Services, Full Real Estate Services, Trust Planning, Trustee and Executor Services, and all forms of Insurances and yes; we own railroads and utility companies .

 

As a think about what I have not written yet after so many anniversaries posts, I have to say this; I am blown away by the loyalty , trust and confidence our clients have placed in our companies and the so many comments that "We are with you as long as you are". Folks, that is one of those statements that is priceless and worth way more than any transaction we have ever done; we are so grateful.

 

Our staff has been a key part of our treasured relationships with our clients. Their dedication, enthusiasm, loyalty along with hard work has been most valuable to our continued success and it could not be done without everyone's effort.

 

In closing, we have what I would say are the best clients we could ever ask for and we are grateful, blessed and appreciate you!
